“Designing for the Mother of the Bride is a very exciting and person project. Apart from the bride, the Mother of the Bride is going to be the most important person to dress.
Many brides like to come in to the studio for the first consultation with their mothers, to talk about the general concept and any colour scheme at the wedding.
It’s usually a great time for the bride and mother to cooperate on such an important day, before the daughter is launched into her new life.
From my collection in the studio there are many shapes, concepts and fabrics for ideas and inspirations. I usually advise on underwear at this stage and the Mother of the Bride can try on the samples and shapes to confirm the design.
I then sketch out the outfit as we have discussed and book the fitting.”

We’ll guide you through the whole process from the design stages, choosing the colours, picking the fabrics (we can source an amazing variety of silks and laces). As well as helping with accessories and shoes.
Our garments are made locally in Dorset by our team of highly skilled seamstresses and tailors.
